A Ghanaian man has recounted how he chastised his wife for building a new two-bedroom home for them with her own resources behind his back.

 

He stated he just found out about the house because his wife, a nurse, gave it to him as an unexpected birthday present.

The University graduate stated that, he earns between Ghc500 and Ghc700 each month as a security guard. Despite his poor income, he provides Ghc50 to his wife every month as maintenance money.

He was enraged that she had built a house without alerting him. He called it discourteous and stated that they would not be living in a home erected by his wife.
