The 20-year-old who impressed last season at stoke is set for another chance at improving his play at Bournemouth, as he seeks to get inaugurated into the Manchester United first-team.
Arsenal Star Midfielder Joins Italian Club
Ainsley Maitland-Niles has moved to Roma on loan from Arsenal for the remainder of the season. Arsenal’s Ainsley Maitland-Niles has completed his loan move to Serie A club, AS Roma for the remainder of the season, but according to reports, there is no buy option included in the deal, so he will likely return to Arsenal in June.
Manchester City defender released on bail
Manchester City defender Benjamin Mendy, accused of a series of serious offences against young women, has been released on bail. Mendy, 27, has been in custody for 134 days since he was arrested and charged with sex offences on August 26. The footballer was granted bail by Judge Patrick Thompson at a private hearing at Chester Crown Court, with press excluded from the courtroom. Mendy had been due to go on trial this month, but the trial has now been put back to June at the earliest. He has been bailed until January 24, until a further pre-trial hearing.
Coutinho joins Aston Villa on a loan deal until the end of the season
The 29-year-old spent the 2019/20 campaign on loan at Bayern Munich but will now return to the Premier League, where he previously spent time at Liverpool. “Aston Villa and FC Barcelona have agreed terms for Philippe Coutinho to spend the rest of this season on loan at Villa Park,” read Villa’s statement. “The agreement, which is subject to the player completing a medical and receiving a work permit, also includes an option to buy and Philippe will travel to Birmingham in the next 48 hours.”
Newcastle United signs Kieran Trippier
Trippier joins the Premier League outfit, who currently find themselves in a relegation dog-fight. Newcastle manager Eddie Howe is hoping to add more new faces to his squad. Newcastle United have completed the signing of Kieran Trippier from Atlético Madrid in a £12 million deal. The England international joins on a two-and-a-half-year deal from the LaLiga champions. Trippier spent two-and-a-half seasons at Atlético, having joined from Tottenham. Negotiations between the LaLiga club and Newcastle started in December, with Atlético agreeing to sell the Trippier when it became clear that he wanted to return to England.
