Nigerian musician, Teni has hinted that she intends to help public university students who wish to transfer to private institutions as a result of incessant strikes.
She took to her Twitter account to make this known mid an ongoing strike by the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, which has lasted for more than two months.
This comes after the ‘Billionaire’ crooner offered to pay the school fees of two final year private university students who have challenges.
Teni pledged the sum of N1.5 million to the cause and said that she will pay tuition for two lucky persons that can prove they really need help.
Following that kind gesture, she has now told students in government owned universities that wish to transfer to private institutions that she is ready to help them.
Teni wrote; ”Public University students affected my the strike and want to transfer to a private uni be getting ready. Make we sort private uni students first.”
