Tems becomes a two-time Grammy Award winner

Notable singer, Tems becomes a two-time Grammy award winner as she bags the Best African Music Performance at 2025 Grammy Awards.

Tems won her second Grammy award with her song “Love Me JeJe”, beating out other notable artists like Yemi Alade, Asake and Wizkid, Chris Brown and Davo, and Burna Boy.

This achievement comes after Tyla from South Africa took home the award in the category’s inaugural year in 2024 with her song “Water”.

Tems had gotten three nominations at this year’s Grammys, which brings her career total to eight.

Also, she was nominated for Best Global Music Album (Born in the Wild) and Best R&B Song (Burning).
