The lawyer of the rapper, Speed Darlington, Stan Alieke has finally revealed the date his client will be released after he was given bail.

The lawyer, Stan Alieke took to his Instagram story to reveal that his client, was arraigned in court and granted bail yesterday, 15th January.
According to him, the reason Speed Darington is still in custody and wasn’t released immediately was that the court didn’t complete the verification of the surety provided.

He added that efforts are being made in order for the rapper to be released today, 16th of January.

Sharing the update on IG, Stan Alieke wrote:
“Yes, Akpi was arraigned and granted bail today by the court & he was meant to be released today. The court just couldn’t meet up to verify the surety we provided that’s why he wasn’t released today. Hopefully, by tomorrow he’ll be out after the perfection of the bail conditions.”
