Seyi Law denies cult allegations, threatens accuser with lawsuit

Nigerian comedian Seyi Law has addressed allegations of being affiliated with the Eiye cult group.

An X user shared a video of Seyi Law at a party, claiming he is highly ranked in the cult group and stating that there is widespread affiliation in the SouthWest region.

Seyi Law responded, expressing his intention to take action, potentially legal, against the Twitter user while hoping his reaction won’t be seen as oppressive.

The X user had written,

“So @seyilaw1 na supreme Eiye member. Almost everybody na Eiye for SouthWest.”

“I hope that when I take action now, people won’t call it oppression.”
