Resurfaced Tweet Reveals Paystack’s Co-founder Ezra’s HIV and Hepatitis B Diagnosis

Ezra Olubi, the recently suspended co-founder and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Paystack, revealed a diagnosis of both HIV and Hepatitis B in a years-old tweet that has resurfaced online.

Olubi was suspended by Paystack after a series of controversial tweets he posted between 2009 and 2013 resurfaced online, containing allegations of sexual misconduct, explicit content, comments involving minors, and references to sexualized anime characters.

One of the resurfaced tweets concerning his health status read:

“Last time I felt this way and went to the hospital for a general checkup, I was diagnosed as both HIV+ and with Hepatitis B.”
