Police Declare Portable Wanted Over Attack On Ogun State Officials

Nigerian singer Portable, whose real name is Habeeb Okikiola, is wanted by the Ogun State Police for allegedly attacking government officials.

It is reported that he and his team chased and assaulted officials from the Ogun State Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development during their work.

The incident occurred in the Ota area and resulted in the arrest of nine of Portable’s associates in Abeokuta two weeks ago.

Meanwhile, the singer is still evading capture while trying to get leniency from the government.

The Ogun State Police Command announced on its X page that a court order has been issued for Portable’s arrest.

The Ogun State Police Command hereby declares Habeeb Okikiola Olalomi, popularly known as “Portable”, wanted for his involvement in a violent attack on government officials carrying out their lawful duties.

The police asked the public to share any information about the singer’s location. They stressed that he needs to go to a police station as required by the court order.
