A woman identified as Vamuhle Thisila, has spoken on the ups and downs of her career transition from a police woman to becoming a farmer.
According to the young lady, she left her job as a police woman because she was unhappy.
Interestingly, she took a likeness in poultry farming, so she started selling chickens.
In a post shared by Black Capitalist on Facebook, Thisila stated that though her former colleagues laughed at her for leaving her permanent place of employment to sell chickens, she does not regret resigning from her job as a police officer.
In her words; “The day I resigned from being a police officer I don’t regret… My former colleagues were laughing at me, saying how can I leave a permanent job for selling chickens.
Guess what, that didn’t bother me at all knowing where I want to see myself… Now I’m feeding the nation. I have enough space to fulfil my dreams, I’m passionate enough to make them come true. In fact I’m almost there. I’m a proud farmer.
