Stella Maris Okafor, the wife of veteran actor Mr. Ibu, exposes the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) for fabricating claims that the organisation supported her husband prior to his health issues.
This comes after the union addressed the claims of abandonment and a lack of structure to help its colleagues in a statement that was made public.
In a video posted by social media critic VeryDarkMan, Mr. Ibu’s wife claims that the guild issued a statement merely to appear credible to the public, despite the fact that it is wholly false.
She disclosed that prior to her husband’s health issue, she had never received assistance from the union and that her attempts to contact the Actors Guild had been unsuccessful.
VeryDarkMan, who supported Mrs. Stella’s assertion, maintained that the guild lacked structure, as he had originally claimed. This is what prompted Nollywood celebrities to criticise him personally for making such a claim.
She said;
“I am not happy at all. AGN came to be talking about what they did not do. Why would they come out to say they’ve been supporting my husband from the start when they did not do anything? I called Emeka Rollers, he didn’t answer; I texted, he read the message and did not reply,”
