A Kenya man simply known as Chris has made his mother proud and happy after returning home from the United States where he lived for years.

He built a house for her and invited his relatives as well as the inhabitants of his hometown, Nanyuki to the official unveiling.

The housewarming and dedication was packed to the teeth with villagers, friends and relatives who came to celebrate with the family.

In a video posted on YouTube, Chris’ mum was required to open the occasion with the cutting of cake.

She began by reading the scripture that was written on the cake to the delight of the crowd, who were also served food and drinks.
Chris also recounted how they were poor before God remembered them and now the story has changed.

“It was a thanksgiving event, opening my mum’s house and its dedication. It has been so many years of poverty and sidelining all those negative things but God remembered us at the end of the day. We were able to complete my mum’s house, fence it and call people for dedication,” he said.
