Kwam1 loses mother, Halima Anifowoshe, at 105

Popular Nigerian Fuji musician, King Wasiu Ayinde Marshall, popularly known as Kwam 1 or K1 De Ultimate, has announced the passing of his mother, Halima Anifowoshe, at the age of 105.

The Fuji star shared the heartbreaking news on Saturday through his social media platforms, posting a photo of himself with his late mother and captioning it: “Inna Lillahi wa inna ilayhi Raji’un. RIP Mama.”

This tragedy comes just days after Kwam1 lost one of his wives, Alhaja Hafsat Ajoke Anifowoshe, who passed away on Tuesday following an undisclosed illness. She was laid to rest the same day at Abari Cemetery, Lagos, under Islamic rites.

The Chief Press Secretary to the Executive Chairman of Lagos Island East Local Council Development Area (LIELCDA) extended condolences on behalf of the council.

“We know it hurts so deeply to lose a loving mother and dependable partner. We wish we could find enough words to comfort you at this moment.

“You must, however, take solace in the time your mother spent on earth and her good service to God and humanity.

“We understand she was an excellent woman, affectionate mother, and dutiful parent to her children who was loved by all those who came in contact with her. Rest assured that our thoughts are with you, and our prayers are that you, the children, and all those she left behind will find the strength to continue where she stopped. May her soul find eternal rest,” it stated.
