Actors Guild of Nigeria, AGN, takes action against well-known producer Adamma Luke, suspending films with river areas indefinitely after Junior Pope’s death.
As you may remember, tragic news of Junior Pope’s horrific and untimely death—drowned in a river in Anam, Anambra state—broke yesterday.
After he passed away, a lot of people used social media to criticise film producer Adamma Luke for allegedly failing to provide the actor with a life jacket.
In addition to Junior Pope dead, the AGN takes some very important steps.
The group has, among other things, put a permanent hold on films that are set in or near riverine environments.
Movie shoot across the nation on Thursday, 11th April have been suspended.
Also, all actors are prohibited from working with Adamma Luke as a producer in any movie.
