British pop star, Jessie J, has announced her battle with early-stage breast cancer, sharing her scheduled surgery date.

According to Jessie J’s recent Instagram post, she was diagnosed with early-stage breast cancer over two months ago and has been undergoing tests.

Furthermore, the iconic star revealed that she’ll be undergoing surgery after her performance at the Summertime Ball concert in London on June 15.

With a touch of humor, she joked that she’ll come back with “massive tits” after the surgery, likely referring to breast reconstruction.

According to Jessie J, she decided to share her diagnosis publicly to show solidarity with others battling cancer and because sharing her experiences has brought her love, support, and connection with others.
