Bukunmi Adeaga Ilori, better known as Kie Kie, a popular Nigerian content creator has admitted that she was already living with her future husband, Tunji Ilori, when she was a spinster.
She decided to move in with him while they were still dating because her house rent was up months before their wedding, according to the skit’s makers.
In a recent episode of her podcast, Toke Moments, Kiekie opened up during an interview with media personality Toke Makinwa.
The mother of one claims that even though she and her partner weren’t yet got married and the church was unaware, she was a choir member at her church while they shared an apartment.
She said;
“My husband and I started living together before we got married because my [house] rent was already due. My rent was due in September, and we were going to get married in January.
So, I can’t renew my rent. And we had done our introduction by then. The church wasn’t aware that we were already living together. I was even singing in the church choir then.”
The comedienne further revealed that she was initially scared of getting married but eventually did after a series of prayers.
