“I married Regina Daniels out of pressure, not love” – Ned Nwoko confesses

Billionaire businessman and politician, Ned Nwoko, has sparked massive reactions online after admitting that his marriage to Nollywood actress Regina Daniels wasn’t born out of love but family pressure.

In a resurfaced interview now making rounds on social media, Ned revealed that his people wanted him to marry a woman from his hometown, and Regina happened to fit to that description.

“I married her because she’s from my place, and there was pressure from my people, it wasn’t about love,” he said.

The businessman further disclosed that he doesn’t believe in dating before marriage and that he and Regina got married just three weeks after meeting.

The revelation has reignited public discussion around their union, especially with ongoing marital crisis between the couple,  including alleged abuse claims which Ned has publicly denied.

Many fans expressed shock, saying they always believed the couple’s love story was genuine, while others said the revelation explained a lot.

One user commented, “So it wasn’t love? Regina really tried. While pressure marriage no dey last, this explains everything.” Another wrote, “Make everybody rest. These two no dey ever leave headlines.”

Whether taken out of context or not, Ned Nwoko’s confession has once again thrown his marriage to Regina Daniels into the spotlight and Nigerians can’t stop talking.
