Moet Abebe, a popular Nigerian video jockey whose real name is Laura Monyazo Abebe, has said she won’t date a man from Lagos Island. On the debut edition of the Bahd and Boujee podcast, which she co-hosted with reality TV celebrity Tolanibaj, the 34-year-old media figure made this claim.
Tolanibaj stated that she does not care if her partner lives on the mainland as long as he responds to her call by 11 p.m. and is on his way to her home.
Moet claimed that if she wanted to see him at night, she wouldn’t want to be in a relationship with someone who would make excuses about being late or running into police roadblocks.
The BBNaija star, however, stated that her partner uses police escort, thus he is unconcerned about being stopped by police at night.
The Video Jockey said; “I’ve always said this thing, I can’t necessarily date someone that lives on the mainland. I feel like if I call him at night he’ll probably give me some story like ‘It’s too late, there’s police on the street. I can’t come.”
