Amos Obeten, a pastor in Calabar, has stated that a bishop came dangerously close to initiating him into a cult 23 years ago.

After popular actor Yemi Solade stated that one must be a member of one of the its cults in order to prosper, the pastor commented out on this.

 

The clergyman claims that 23 years ago, when he and a bishop were abroad for a ministry, the man attempted to tempt them into joining a cult while they were still young pastors.

 

He claimed that his devotion to the Holy Ghost had prevented him from entering the fraternity.

“My brother is a very bitter truth, do u no as a very young preacher 23years ago a Bishop almost initiated me into a cult outside the country when we travelled together for a ministration, what saved me was my commitment to the holyghost!,” the pastor wrote.
