Mrs. Onyekesi dismissed claims by activist Martins Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, that the governor was responsible for the killing.

“Governor Soludo is not in any way responsible for the death of my son. We all know that Anambra is now better in terms of security than Soludo met it. Will Soludo come to every home to mount guard?” she stated.

She added that the governor personally reached out to her the night of the abduction and connected her with the state police commissioner to secure her son’s release.

“I have read news of people blaming the governor for it, but that is not true. I dare say that the governor is doing his best in security, and Anambra is better than what it used to be,” she maintained.
