Emotions flow as mother of late Down College student, Sylvester Oromoni, passes away

Two years after the devastating loss of her youngest child, Sylvester Oromoni Jr., a student of Dowen College, Mrs Oromoni the grieving mother has succumbed to a protracted illness.

Recall that the traumatic incident in 2021, which centered on allegations of bullying at her son’s school, had left Mrs. Oromoni grappling with intense sorrow.

As time passed, her health began to decline, largely due to the emotional anguish of losing her 12-year-old son.

Reports online revealed that despite receiving medical attention and the unwavering support of her loved ones, Mrs. Oromoni’s health struggles eventually became too great to overcome, and she passed away on November 25, 2024.

The news of her passing has thrown the family and well-wishers into profound mourning.
