A Nigerian doctor and social media influencer, Dr. Penking has criticised the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC for failing to arrest fast-rising singer, Bella Shmurda for promoting cyber fraud.
According to him, Bella’s 2020 hit song, CashApp allegedly glorifies and encourages people to go into internet fraud.
Dr. Penking expressed shock that the EFCC boss, Abdulrasheed Bawa was yet to order the arrest of the artiste, saying that he is not serious with his job as the head of the anti-graft agency.
He wrote on Twitter;
”It’s still shocking to me that 1 year after Bella Shmurda released ‘Cash App,’ a track openly encouraging, glorifying and promoting internet fraud, EFCC is still yet to arrest him or invite him for interrogation.
Bawa is not yet serious with his job. When he is, we will know.”
