A music enthusiast identified as ABEFE on X (formerly Twitter) has urged Nigerian music star David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, to sack his manager, Asa, of his duties after the latter shared his most-played songs and top artists of the year.

Asa’s playlist, which excluded Davido, featured artists such as MGK, Justin Bieber, Ryan Leslie and others.

The omission sparked debate among fans and non-fans after ABEFE publicly criticised the manager’s choices.

Fan’s Criticism Triggers Reactions

Reacting to the playlist, ABEFE wrote: “If I’m Davido today, I will sack Asaasika, he’s not worthy to be his manager… ika ni Bobo yen… he doesn’t love working with David.”

His comment set off a wave of mixed reactions on social media, with many users sharing different views on whether a manager is required to prioritise an artiste’s songs.
