Dr. Deji Adeleke, billionaire businessman and father of Afrobeats star Davido, has finally broken silence on the long-running paternity claims involving his son.

The allegation was made by an Ibadan-based woman identified as Ayo Labinjo, who claimed she had a sexual relationship with Davido during one of his visits to the city several years ago.
According to her, the encounter resulted in a pregnancy, and she later gave birth to a baby girl named Anu Adeleke.

She has repeatedly alleged that the singer refused to take responsibility for the child.

It will be recalled that a few days ago, Anu, through an Instagram page believed to be managed on her behalf, publicly appealed to Davido to undergo another DNA test, saying she wanted clarity on whether he was truly her father.
Responding to the renewed claims, Davido stated that five DNA tests had already been conducted, and all the results returned negative, firmly insisting that he is not the child’s father.

Dr. Deji Adeleke has now addressed the matter, backing his son’s position amid the renewed online debate.
According to him, the reports circulating on social media are false and misleading.

He alleged that thecontroversy is being fueled by investigative journalist Kemi Olunloyo , whom he accused of pushing the narrative online.

He further stressed that science has already spoken on the issue, emphasizing that the DNA results clearly show that Anu is not one of the Adeleke family’s grandchildren.
