American rapper, Chris Brown reportedly arrested over alleged brutal nightclub attack on music producer, Abe Diaw.

According to reports, Chris Brown was arrested on Thursday, May 15, 2025, in Manchester, UK.

Chris Brown’s arrest stems from a February 19, 2023, incident at Tape nightclub in London’s Mayfair area, during which he allegedly assaulted Abe Diaw, striking him over the head with a bottle, punching and kicking him.

This incident led to Diaw’s hospitalization and a subsequent $16 million lawsuit against Chris Brown for damages and defamation.

However, Chris Brown’s management team is yet to break silence over the swirling reports about his arrest.

His arrest comes ahead of his upcoming ‘Breezy Bowl XX Stadium World Tour,’ which kicks off on June 8 2025,  in Amsterdam..

According to a latest report, the 36-year-old rapper was detained at The Lowry hotel, Manchester, shortly after 2 am on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm.
