In a lengthy statement shared online, Onuoha argued that the senator’s repeated social media posts and public allegations against the young actress reflect a pattern of control rather than concern.

She claimed that the continued public engagement, including accusations and personal attacks, was unbecoming of a senior public figure and called for restraint.

Onuoha further expressed concern about the age difference in the relationship, noting that Daniels was a teenager at the time it began, and stressed that individuals have the right to leave relationships they no longer find healthy.
