Big Brother Naija star Uriel Oputa has offered to support veteran Nollywood actor Clem Ohameze after reading an emotional story about his health struggles.

The piece claimed that Ohameze praised his daughter for caring for him through his illness, unlike his sons. The story struck a personal chord with Uriel, who has been caring for her mother after she suffered a stroke.

“As a woman caring for my mother who has also suffered a stroke, this story truly breaks my heart… it doesn’t only affect the person but takes a huge toll on the entire family,” Uriel shared.

While admitting she doesn’t know the full details of his situation, Uriel said she would like to help in any way she can. “I don’t know where he is right now but if the family could reach out to me, I would love to offer something small to support them,” she wrote.

MEANWHILE…….. Veteran Nollywood actor Clem Ohameze has spoken about the life-saving bond he shares with his only daughter, describing her as his pillar of support for more than two decades since he suffered a stroke.

The legendary screen star revealed that while his three sons have gone on to start their own families, his daughter has devoted her life to caring for him, making numerous personal sacrifices along the way.

Ohameze acknowledged that, during his active years, he gave more attention and resources to his sons. However, it is his daughter who has remained steadfast by his side.

“If my daughter wasn’t born, I would have been gone more than a decade ago,” he said.

Reflecting on his experience, the 60-year-old actor added:

“You don’t know what God has done for you if you have a girl child. They are the only ones who will never give up on you.”
