A decade after Maria Shriver filed a divorce from Hollywood legend, Arnold Schwarzenegger, the duo officially finalized their legal separation on Tuesday, December 28.

Arnold Schwarzenegger, famous for his exquisite role in the movie ‘The Terminator,’ was painted black in a cheating scandal some years ago, thus leading Maria Shriver to file for divorce.

It is noteworthy that the Hollywood star married Shriver in 1986 after meeting her at a tennis event. Their union was blessed with four children.

A statement by Maria Shriver on her divorce read, “This is a painful and heartbreaking time. As a mother, my concern is for the children. I ask for compassion, respect and privacy as my children and I try to rebuild our lives and heal.”
