A police officer has been captured on camera taking the flight not fight approach while being accosted in Ikorodu, Lagos state.
The armed policeman was in the neighbourhood with some other officers for reasons yet to be ascertained.

However, a crowd of angry Ikorodu youths chased away his colleagues who were in an official police bus and they left one policeman behind.

They turned to face the officer who initially tried to stand his ground but the increasing number of young men overwhelmed him and he took to his heels.
One of the boys who held a bottle hit it on the police officer’s head during the confrontation.
