A Nigerian man has stirred reactions online after sharing an experience involving a lady who allegedly spent almost ₦36,000 on food during an outing with his friend before changing her attitude after they returned to the apartment.

In a video shared on X (formerly Twitter), he explained that his friend took a lady out, where she proceeded to buy several food items, including a whole turkey, rice, large ice cream, shawarma and cake.

According to him, the lady appeared comfortable with the purchases and did not complain about the amount spent while his friend was making the payments.
In his words, he said:

“Nigerian girls will never change, na one girl rice we dey chop like this. Boy carry you come outside, only you buy full turkey, buy rice, big big ice cream, shawarma, only you buy cake. Anything wey she buy, she dey buy am two. Almost ₦36k.”
The man said the situation changed after they got inside the hotel room, claiming that the lady began acting differently and later revealed that she was on her menstrual flow.

He noted that she had watched his friend make the payment without saying anything, only to raise the issue after they got inside.

“When you got to the apartment, you were looking at the guy while he was making the payment for the hotel room, you didn’t say anything. It was when you entered you started forming wiseness, saying you’re on your menstrual flow,” he added.

The man then suggested that his friend should send the lady home so they could enjoy the food she had purchased.

He concluded by saying they would start with the rice before moving on to the shawarma, ice cream and cake.
