According to multiple eyewitness reports on social media, Oshiomole reportedly arrived late for his flight, only to meet the plane already gone.
Instead of taking it calmly, he and his security team allegedly blocked the departure gate, insisting that no other passenger should be allowed to board until the issue was resolved.
A video that surfaced online shows heated exchanges between airport staff and what appears to be Oshiomole’s team. One Air Peace staff was even heard saying, “SIR YOU ARE ALWAYS COMING LATE, MISSING YOUR FLIGHT AND CAUSING PROBLEMS.” Apparently

@PaolaRagnar: “I remember when I had my flight schedule for 7am. And Air peace told me plane took off at 5am Omo wtf . Not funny that day mehn.”
@Are_dion: “And here is why they have the mind to rig election, everyone stood looking no one want to die, no one want to go prison, this is totally economy lose, normally he should be arrested, this is a terrorist act. But as usual, APC Nigeria will still give Nigerians to dig lower.”
@obidient_priest: “Arrogance and misuse of power. How u go come 10 minutes to take off and you expect to board… airport runs on schedule and they don’t joke with that to avoid so many issues.”
@pdogged: “From the way everyone was just looking at him means we have already lost 2027 elections. They should start getting scared of us now. That’s how my whole polling unit with hefty men left only me to fight just 3 thugs that came to discrupt the voting.”
