Actress, Mary Remmy Njoku shares what happens when a person from humble beginnings becomes successful

Nollywood actress and film producer, Mary Remmy Njoku has shared some of the challenges people who rose to the top from nothing might face.

Remmy, the Director General of the award-winning Lagos-based film house, ROK Studios, in a post shared on her Instagram page noted that people who knew ‘successful people’ before their success, might find it hard to acknowledge or accept their new status.

According to her, these people who knew those who struggled their way to the top from nothing, find it hard to accept that they came from the same place because they are still there, adding that all the love and support successful people gets will most likely come from strangers.
