Social commentator, Oyigidu has criticised singer Peter Okoye, popularly known as Mr P, accusing him of contributing significantly to the problems within the P-Square family.

According to Oyigidu, the family dispute can be traced back to the period when Peter’s wife, Lola, became pregnant with their first child.

He claimed that Peter kept the pregnancy secret from his family, including his twin brother, Paul Okoye, and their mother.
Oyigidu further argued that Peter’s decision to publicly announce the pregnancy on the day P-Square was receiving an award was disrespectful to his brothers and contributed to the eventual breakdown of their relationship.

He also alleged that Lola had been controlling Peter from the beginning of their relationship and claimed that this contributed to his strained relationship with his family.

“Peter of P-Square is very disrespectful, and the beginning of the problem that started in their family. It all started when Lola was pregnant. He didn’t tell anyone, not even his twin brother, whom he claimed to love so much. Not even his mother. And what is the first thing you will do as a 27-year-old who just impregnated his girlfriend, who was nine years older than him? You announced it on the day P-Square was receiving an award, and you expected your brothers not to walk away? It was obvious Lola was controlling you from the beginning, and that destroyed your relationship with your family.”
