Yul Edochie’s second wife, Judy Austin, has reportedly taken legal action against the actor’s aunt, Rita Edochie, demanding ₦1 billion in damages.

A writ of summons filed at the High Court of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja Judicial Division, lists Judy Austin-Yul-Edochie as the claimant and Rita Edochie as the defendant.

According to the court document seen in the viral post, Rita Edochie has been given 30 days after being served with the writ to enter an appearance. The document states that failure to do so could allow the claimant to proceed with the case and seek judgment in her absence.

The development comes amid the long-running public disagreements surrounding Yul Edochie’s marriages and family affairs, with Rita Edochie having previously made public comments concerning Judy and the actor.

The lawsuit has since triggered reactions online, with social media users debating the development and the reported ₦1 billion claim.
