“He asked me out in the morning and broke up with me that evening” – Lady shares awkward Tinder date experience

A Nigerian lady has shared how a man she met on Tinder allegedly asked her to be his girlfriend in the morning, only to end the relationship that same evening after she requested transport fare.

According to her, they met on Tinder and spoke consistently for over a month before he invited her to a party.

She claimed the man paid for her Bolt ride, treated her well and repeatedly told her he was looking for a serious relationship.

In her words, he said:

 

“He told me he wasn’t on Tinder for games and that he wanted a serious relationship. We kept talking, and I believed he was different from other Abuja guys.”

The lady disclosed that she later opened up about her financial struggles and desire to start a business, adding that the man promised to support her financially.

 

She further revealed that he later invited her to his house, cooked for her and spent the night talking about how his ex-girlfriend had allegedly betrayed him.

“The next morning, he served me breakfast in bed and asked me to be his girlfriend. I accepted. As I was leaving, I told him I had no money for Bolt, and he promised to send my transport fare and the business money once I got home,” she added.

However, she alleged that when she reminded him later that evening, he accused her of trying to “bill” him, ended the relationship and blocked her on all platforms.
