A woman close to Nigerian online entrepreneur Lucky Elohor has shared heartbreaking details about the circumstances that led to her death, sparking outrage online.

Lucky, popularly known as Digital Creator Chic, died at the age of 29 after a road accident, with lack of emergency response and inadequate medical facilities cited as key factors.

Bad Roads Led to Fatal Accident

According to the woman, who identified herself as Lucky’s mentor on Instagram @triciabiz, the accident was triggered by poor road conditions.
She explained that a pothole caused the crash that ultimately led to Lucky’s death.

Lack of Emergency Response
She highlighted the absence of proper emergency services, explaining that no one was available to transport the injured entrepreneur quickly to a hospital.

The woman revealed that even after the accident, access to medical care was severely delayed due to strikes at local hospitals, including Lautech. Lucky had to be transported to another city in search of treatment.

Further complicating her condition was the lack of properly equipped hospitals. According to @triciabiz, there was no functional MRI in Ilorin, and the nearest facility was in Ogbomosho.

- Hospitals on strike – Finally Good Samaritan comes. Lautech is on strike so they transport accident citizen to another city.
- Poorly equipped private hospitals – No MRI, no freaking functional MRI in the entire city of Ilorin. Nearest is Ogbomosho. My girl didn’t make it back from that trip.
