Aura broke the record previously held by Blue Ivy Carter, who won her first Grammy at 9 years old in 2021, and Leah Peasall, who was 8 years and 10 months old when she won as part of the Peasall Sisters in 2002.

It’s worth noting that Tyla won the Best African Music Performance award at the 68th Grammy Awards for her song ‘Push 2 Start’.
