“If I were your sister, will you…?” – Lady reacts after ex empties her salon following engagement to another man

Drama continued after a Nigerian lady’s ex reportedly emptied the salon he set up for her following news of her engagement to another man.

In a viral video circulating on X (formerly Twitter), the visibly angry man stormed the salon to confront his ex, accusing her of planning her traditional marriage with another man.

He then proceeded to remove all the equipment and goods in the shop, which he claimed to have purchased.

Reacting to the incident, the lady defended her decision to move on, questioning the man’s actions and intentions.

In her words, she said:

“Why will he video me and post it online? If I were your sister, will you allow me to marry a Yahoo Yahoo person? The boy didn’t even go to school, and you’re asking me why I didn’t marry him just because he opened a shop for me.”

She added that marriage cannot be forced, stressing that her decision to reject her ex was final and non-negotiable.

“I won’t marry him; it’s not by force. Now my fiancé is angry because he has locked the store,” she added.
