“12 hours journey on handcuff”- Regina Daniels brother recalls being arrested by Ned Nwoko

Sammy West, brother to Nollywood actress Regina Daniels, has questioned the circumstances surrounding his recent arrest linked to billionaire Ned Nwoko.

Taking to his Instagram story, he revealed that he was handcuffed and transported by road to Abuja on a 12 hour journey, while Ann, Regina Daniels’ close friend, was flown to Abuja in a private jet.

West shared his experience while reacting to the incident that recently went viral on social media.

A video circulated online capturing the moment Sammy West and Ann were reportedly arrested from their residence, sparking widespread reactions and speculation.

Expressing his frustration, West questioned the unequal treatment, as he recounted how he was treated differently despite being involved in the same case.

In his words, he said:

“Wetin man do man! Put me for 12 hours journey on handcuff and Ann dem use private jet transport am.”

According to him, the same pattern used during the first arrest was repeated this time, as they were not allowed to inform any family members of their whereabouts.

He also provided an update on the legal matter, stating that the case has been adjourned until March 5, 2026.

Following the incident, Regina Daniels publicly addressed the situation, insisting that her estranged husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, is behind the arrest.
