Heartbroken woman narrates how her boyfriend she sponsored abroad dumped her for a neighbour

An abroad-based woman has sparked reactions on social media after sharing how her search for love back home in Africa ended in heartbreak.

In a video circulating online, she revealed that she had tried several relationships abroad, but none worked despite her best efforts.

Following advice from friends and family, she returned home hoping to meet someone special and start fresh.

She met a man who captured her heart, and they began dating. Initially planning to stay for only a month, she ended up staying four months due to their strong connection.

After returning abroad, she sponsored him to move with her. For six months, he lived with her while she provided food, clothing, and support, believing in their love.

Heartbreak came when she discovered he had started a relationship with another woman, who was a close-by neighbour, which later became pregnant.

When confronted, the woman dismissed her concerns and told her to calculate the money she had spent on him and also got to later realize he never truly loved her.

Three years later, now approaching 40, she reflects on the pain but recognizes that her love and generosity were not weaknesses.
