In a viral video, she explained that a man she had been talking to in the UK reached out to ask why she suddenly went silent. He had no idea she had just been involved in a minor car accident that damaged two of her tyres.

According to Nkechi, when she explained what happened, his only response was to ask if she was okay and then he abruptly ended the conversation.

She said the reaction shocked her because she expected someone who claimed to be interested in her to show genuine concern rather than vanish the moment she mentioned she was in a difficult situation.

Nkechi emphasized that she wasn’t asking him for money or help, noting that she fixed the tyres herself.

When he returned hours later to ask if the issue had been resolved, she simply told him she had already bought two new tyres.

She further stated that she can no longer date a man who expects her to buy an expensive flight ticket to London with a promise of reimbursement upon arrival, saying she has outgrown such dynamics.

The actress compared the man’s behaviour to that of a male friend in Abuja who, upon hearing she would be visiting for work, immediately offered to handle her hotel arrangements. Even when she insisted on paying, he refused, which she described as a true display of effort.
