Nollywood actor Jigan Baba Oja has clapped back at controversial social media critic Verydarkman following allegations that he is part of a covert WhatsApp group working to derail the fight for justice for the late singer, Mohbad.

The drama began after Verydarkman accused actress Iyabo Ojo of heading a WhatsApp group allegedly created to sabotage efforts seeking justice for Mohbad. He claimed several celebrities, including Jigan Baba Oja, were part of the group.
In response to the mounting backlash, Jigan took to TikTok live to express his displeasure and firmly dismissed Verydarkman’s demands for him to share the group’s chat history.

He stated, “If you like, listen to my explanation, so fine. Do I even owe you an explanation? No! As long as my conscience is so pure; that’s what matters.”
Further addressing the matter, the actor later posted on Instagram, seemingly throwing jabs at Verydarkman:

“So fast Nigerians ain’t asking for the evidences no more! Something you paid 20m to achieve and you can’t post it no longer! Are we still in the slavery era? Na leg dey pain me not my brain! We shall see to the end of this! Thank you Allah, Olujo Mimo! .”
