While they had tried to harass and turn down his request, Harrison Gwamnishu made this case heard, insisting that he needed to see the governor over the insecurity in Delta.

“I have just concluded a solo protest at the Delta State Government House to draw urgent attention to the growing insecurity plaguing our communities.

The Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, appears to be neglecting the vital role of our local security networks—structures that remain unfunded and unsupported, even as kidnappings and violence escalate.

I came here to express deep concern and to urge the government to prioritize funding for local vigilante groups. This is not just a protest—it is a call to action for the safety and protection of all Deltans.
