Notable movie star, John Okafor, better known as Mr Ibu has reacted to backlashes following a video of him drumming support for the ex-Lagos state governor, Ahmed Bolaji Tinubu.

A video of Mr Ibu and some respected veterans in Nollywood at an event, tagged ‘South West Stands with Asiwaju Bola Tinubu’ made the rounds on social media lately in which the movie stars endorsed Tinubu for president come 2023.

This video however generated lots of backlashes online as people were of the view that they have been bought over by the politician.

Reacting to this, Mr Ibu in a video reiterated the fact that he is an entertainer and was invited to do what he knows best, that is to act.

According to him, he owes his loyalty to the ex-vice president Atiku Abubakar whom he said has done a lot for him.
