Nicole Chikwe, the wife of popular music star Naeto C, speaks on the backlashes she faced after her relationship with him was made public.
She opened up on this as she recounted how she and her husband had met.

In a recent chat, she revealed that she and Naeto had met when she was 22 years. At the time, she had just returned from England where she had finished her BSc.
Nicole stated that at the time, her intention was to do her NYSC and then return to England for her masters.

However, when she met Naeto, everything changed, and she was willing to give up furthering her studies to begin marriage with him.
She revealed that the singer had insisted that she go pursue her master’s and return before their marriage.

According to her, when her relationship with the singer was made public, she faced a lot of bitter criticisms from people.

The word was that she wasn’t good enough for him, since she was just a regular kind of girl, and he was, at the time, a major super star.

“When our relationship went public, it was a whole thing. I received a lot of vitroil when it came out. And the rhetoric was that I was not good enough for everyone’s beloveth Naeto C, he could do so much better than her, she’s not beautiful, she’s so ugly. I was compared to all sorts of animals….”
