Afrobeats sensation, Emmanuel Adewale, popularly known as Mayorkun, has revealed that he is considering relocating abroad due to the ongoing hardships in Nigeria.

In a post shared on his X handle on Monday, the “Mayor of Lagos” crooner expressed his thoughts on the situation.

He wrote; 

“I dey reason to japa” (I’m considering relocating).

Mayorkun’s comments have sparked discussions, as more Nigerian celebrities have been making the move oversees in recent years.

Over the past decade, several well-known Nigerian stars, including Banky W, Tacha, Eldee, Dr. Sid, Genevieve Nnaji, Omotola Jalade Ekeinde, Rita Dominic, Uche Jombo, and Emeka Ike, have opted to settle abroad.
