Hilda Baci loses Guinness World Record for the longest cooking marathon to Irish chef, Alan Fisher

Nigerian chef Hilda Baci lost her title to Irish chef Alan Fisher, who set a new record for the longest cooking marathon.

Remember that Miss Baci set a new record for the longest cooking marathon on May 11, 2023, when she cooked for an astounding 93 hours and 11 minutes?

During her four days in the kitchen, she prepared over a hundred pots of food, including pounded yam, egusi soup, and jollof rice, which are typical Nigerian meals.

Hilda Baci, the holder of the Guinness World Record, used her position to inspire people to follow their aspirations and to increase awareness of food insecurity.

She also encouraged other chefs to challenge themselves.

On November 7, the Guinness World Records official declared that Irish chef Alan Fisher has surpassed Nigerian chef Hilda Baci to become the record holder for the longest cooking marathon.
