Nigerian Gospel singer, Mercy Chinwo is overjoyed as she welcomed her first child with her husband, Pastor Blessed.

A year after being married, the popular singer and her husband made the announcement in April that they were expecting their first child.

The gospel singer verified the information by sharing a music video in which she flaunted her growing baby bulge and thanked God for the new baby, stating that He has filled their lips with testimonies and their hearts with happiness.

The singer did not reveal the gender of the child, but internet reports indicate that the couple welcomed a son.

She wrote:

“Lord, we are grateful; we approach Your throne with heartfelt songs of praise and thanksgiving.

“You’ve filled our hearts with joy, our lips with testimonies, and our home with celebration. Indeed “YOU DO THIS ONE.”
