Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, a popular Nollywood actress and singer, has spoken publicly about how, at a young age, her desperation nearly drove her into prostitution.

The actress recounted how she lost her father to cold hands of death when she was 12 years old and how the awful incident nearly destroyed her life during an interview with media personality Chude Jidenwo.

Since her father’s death, she states that she has learnt to be emotionless, and things no longer affect her, no matter how painful they may be.
