Nigerian entertainment journalist, Joey Akan has shared some backstory about how superstar singer, Wizkid used to record songs when he was still an up and coming artiste.
According to the columnist, because Wizkid did not have money at the time, he hung around the studio owned by Knighthouse, which signed Mo Cheddah.
Akan said the Starboy often waited hours for other artistes who paid for sessions, but did not use the entire slot, so he ended up using the remaining time to record
”When Wizkid didn’t have money to record, he hung around the studio at Knighthouse, waiting for people to pay for sessions and not use the entire slot.
When he could get lucky, he used it. That’s how he could get any time on the mic. That’s the foundation of his studio time,” the writer shared.
