Eguavoen resigns as Super Eagles coach

Austin Eguavoen has resigned as Super Eagles interim technical adviser.

According to Blueprint, a source in the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) disclosed that he decided to step down following Nigeria’s failure to qualify for the 2022 World Cup.

The FIFA World Cup is scheduled to be held in Qatar between Nov and Dec. 2022.

The source told Blueprint that Eguavoen has handed over his resignation letter to NFF.
